WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Our session will include a little breath explanation at the start, then a breath practice, followed by some optional journal prompts. There will be the option to connect with others and share towards the end. This is a very personal and unique journey for everyone and you're encouraged to move at your pace.
You could experience a variety of symptoms through the practice such as emotional responses, spiritual experiences, physical numbness/tingles, dizziness, temperature shifts, etc.
All of it is completely natural and welcomed in our space.
ABOUT BREATHWORK
Breathwork refers to breathing techniques that intentionally focus on the breath. For thousands of years, Eastern medicine practices including Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine have employed breathing techniques to calm the body and the mind or deal with chronic stress, addiction or heal trauma that lives in the body.
